Plymouth Prowler with Trailer

This will also be my next project.

The Plymouth Prowler made by Revell/Monogram and the trailer.

And the parts:

I'll build this one just OOB but I'll paint it in a different colour. I was thinking about red or silver or a 2-tone colour.

Kris.

I think you will enjoy this kit. I built the AMT version last year and it was a blast.

It's a great kit that, for some reason is, seen.

Looks like a good build. I think you should go with a two tone color. red/silver would look good

Re: Plymouth Prowler with Trailer

Today I choosed the colour for this car. It's a different colour as I want before. Motip Metallic Violet. I sprayed 3 layers and hope to clearcoat it next week.

Nice color! The AMT kit sucks, I built mine as a horror as for the fitment, so wish you good luck, this one can be better!

Re: Plymouth Prowler with Trailer

Last days I worked on the body parts.

I used the same technique as the Charger by sanding the paint and polish it and than clearcoat it 3 times.

The result is very nice and I love this colour

The interior will be painted ocker just like the Charger.

Re: Plymouth Prowler with Trailer

Any feedback?

Well, I finished the interior. I used ocker and aluminium paints for the interior and used black interiorflocking.

I also finished the trailer:

And a quick dryfit.

The chassis is also finished. I used flat chrome paint for most parts which is very nice in my opinion.
The finished engine was placed on the chassis:

The stock springs looks teribble, so I used a nail and a spring from a ballpoint. and this is the result. The exhaust also looks like nothing so I made some from an alluminium rod.

The frontsuspension is also improved.

I also polished the body and waxed it 2 times.
After that I could place the lights and other details.

The frontwindow is painted flat chrome.

The separate roof was also painted in ocker. When it was dry I placed the window in it.

Testfitting on the chassis:

I hope to finish the Prowler tomorrow.

Kris.
