How can I shrink tires?

How can I shrink tires? My favorite rim in my extra parts box is just a little bit smaller than the nicest lookin tires I have. I want the tires to shrink and wrap around the tire tight, anyone have suggestions?

You could cut a bit of the tire out then glue it back together, maybe?

Talking

Instead of trying to shrink the tires, try to make the rims larger. To do this, try wrapping a piece of black electrical tape, one revolution, around the rim and them slip the tire on. If the fit is acceptable, trim any tape that is visible.

I first learned this trick from the 1:43rd Ninja Modeler, Akira.
