Problem Starting.

I have a 2005 SE-R Spec V cai/h/e. As of yesterday I couldnt not start my car. The battery is fine and everything turns on when the power is turned on. When I turn the key to start the car the radio turns off but the lights stay on. There is a high pitched sound when the power is turned on. I think that I may have knocked a wire loose but I am not sure. PLEASE HELP!

Similar situation with my 2001 Sentra and it was an issue with the idler suspension.

sounds like you might need a starter. if everything turns on, and you turn the key to start it, and the dash is still on, then its not your battery. or your alternator.

check the ground from the battery. there is known to be a flaw in it. also, check the starter.

the car is still rather new, so there shouldnt be anything other than that.
