WTF?! Molding problem?

Just noticed this on the cabin of my Evo6, any suggestions on how to fix it? I'm talking about the jagged looking hole...I'm guessing putty is the most likely solution...

PS Progress pics of this thing will be up soon

Is that part just missing? Put styrene sheet behind it and fill it with putty.

What are you talking about? That's for aerodynamic stability. I sure wish someone made Type R decals.

Dont fill the holes, make more of them all over the model, then you will have quite a lot of:

While your at it, put some in the fuel lines, the intake and in that damn heavy radiator.

Then the car will be super fast!!!

Try covering the inside with masking tape and using a 2 part clear Epoxy (two tubes, one plunger arrangement, sold at Wal-Mart/hardware stores, etc) to fill the missing portion from the bottom.

When the Epoxy has hardened (I use 5 Minute) peel away the masking tape and then use a thin coat of putty if needed (but primer usually covers the problem).
