GTP electrical issues
I have a 99 GTP and have been having some electrical concerns. First the display on the radio seems to come and go. It is visible but so jumbled you cannot tell what time or station. (seems to act up more when using the heater)
Then the other day I am sitting at the light when I start feeling excessive cold air...turns out my a/c was on and blowing although the system was off. (I am sure it was off and not on auto either). I have noticed that with heat too at times. It is intermittent, but I am concerned it will get worse. Is this a typical issue? Is it the PCM? The last owner didn't have it secured due to the installation of the CAI. Maybe vibration damaged it? I am out of ideas outside of tracing every wire in the car.

Re: GTP electrical issues
There is a fix for the radio and clock display problem which may be applicable. We have several old threads on the issue. It requires removing the radio from the dash.
I'm assuming you have the automatic dual climate control system (ACC) and it was off for sure. The blower problem could be a blower motor control module which has the hi-speed fan relay with battery power applied at all times. Meaning you could get air blowing out of the vents even with the ACC off or ignition to off when internal components in the module short out. I seriously doubt any of these problems is your PCM module.

Re: GTP electrical issues
Thanks, when I posted this I searched and didn't see a lot about it and then this time (by browsing) I have seen a lot of issues. My blower, to my knowledge, hasn't been blowing with the key off, but I am reading this could happen, huh?
Thanks for the help, this site is the best.
