possible lost key - dealer replacement cost?

I might have lost the key to my 04 bravada. I cannot figure out where it went and have spent the last 5 hours looking EVERYWHERE for it.

In the case i cannot find it, what is the dealership going to charge me to replace? I dont have a spare available either. I assume they will need proof of some sort to get it programmed up.

Any tips/help would be appreciated.

Re: possible lost key - dealer replacement cost?

THanks for the reply. Unfortunately i could not find that stupid key anywhere!! Good news is the new key will only cost about $18 at the local GMC parts store here.
If you ever lose one, or want a copy, all they need is proof of ownership (registration) and a picture ID.
I found the remote fob on Ebay for $13 shipped (brand new OEM).
So ......im back in business for just over $30. Not too bad!
