ECU question

i have h22a and i just put a ls vtec ecu (h22 ecu doesnt work, dont buy from osaka) is it bad to drive the car with the ls vtec ecu ? is vtec supose to kick with the wrong ecu ?

yes doesnt matter what ECU u use as long as its a VTEC but with out the right one it will run like crap

it does matter.... the fuel maps will be WAY off and the timing maps as well... your risking melting a piston if you run that ecu.... not to mention i think the H22 had secondary butterflies and the ECU youre using (Im assuming its either a P28 or P72) might not have the board built in for it, so they wont work. (Unless its a P72, then they'll work)

H22A peak & hold injectors on a saturated compatible ecu

Ah.. i knew i was missing something... basically NO ITS NOT OK to use that ecu with your motor

so its not ok to run my car with that ecu ? we just replaced the vtec pressure sensor and the car runs good, vtec kicks, but u guys are saying its not good to run it with that ecu? , even for a couple of dayz till i switch it to p13 ecu?
