trans module not getting the message to downshift
Is the module bad if I can reset the fuse and the trans works fine? Then after a few days, it won't downshift again.
engine light comes on too. HELP !!runaround

Is the engine light on? I think the engine light would be on in an 04 if the TCM went out. If so get it scaned, to be sure its the TCM and not a sensor.

Does it blow any fuses? You may look at some of the surrounding electrical connections to make sure there are no exposed wires or kinks. I would even look at the connector going to the module itself to see if anything looks out of place.
