Malibu eat my CD!!!!!
I went to eject a CD this morning and the display said LOCKED and the CD would not eject. The display stated NO DISK each time I went to eject the CD. I tried surgically removing it with a flat pair of tweezers but was unsuccessful. It seems to be locked high enough to see the disk but there are two plastic guards on either side that will not disgorge the disk. What do I do beside taking back to the dealership? Should I try disconnecting the battery? Or, maybe pulling the fuse and replacing it? I am trying not to do any damage to the mechanism and I have had the disk between the tweezers but cannot remove it at all, nor can I get it to go down so that it can be played and ejected. Any help with be very greatly appreciated.
Pat McLaughlin Note: I have a 2004 Malibu and use the CD player very frequently. Is the solution simple or complicated?

Re: Malibu eat my CD!!!!!
I had this problem too. I think this Malibu generation have this problem. I ignore it and it worked again in 1-2 weeks. I am tired to bring the car to dealer for resetting this simple malfuntion. I changed the Kenwood with MP3 player, it's cheap now and happy

Try removing the fuse for a few seconds.
