2000 mustang

I have a 2000 mustang with a mach 460 system it has two amps that i am aware of. My question is can i hook up my sub and amp to the existing head unit with out unhooking my other amps. I have a 700x2 channel sound storm amp and a 15" memphis sub woofer. If so plese explain how. IF not then when i hook up a new head unit can i still use the existing amps in the car how the were set up from the factory along with my amp and sub?

Re: 2000 mustang

integrating aftermarket stuff with OEM equipment is challenging at best. You would have to know the wiring of the factory amps and know what input they are looking for. Then you would have to know how to balance the bass amp to the factory amps.
