Power Antenna Question
I have a 1983 Daytonna pace Transam, the power antenna wasnt working, got a antenna from a 1987 I roc z that works when connected to the battery, installed in car and doesnt work, anyone have the wiring diagram for this application, antenna has a Green, gray and yellow or white wires would like to know exactly what each wire is for and the theory of how the antennma works, the radio is not he original, but all original wiring pigtails fit perfectly from the harness,is their a relay for the antenna in this car and if so where, any and all info appreciated.the wiring diagrams that i have show the gray wire would run to the clock if there was a clock,so i assume this would be the constant hot wire.

Re: Power Antenna Question
Most likely, my guess is that the Green wire is the positive wire, the gray is the ground wire, and the yellow is the accessory wire. When you turn the radio on, it should send voltage through the accessory wire which would activate the motor and move the antenna up. That's just my guess though.
