91 Honda Civic...License Plate Lights..
Ok. All my other lights are working on my 91 civic except the 2 license plate lights. Replaced both bulbs and still nothing. Maybe the ground is bad? How do i check this and replace it if it is bad? I know where the ground for the license plate light is located. Rear trunk if im not mistaken. Please help me out

Re: 91 Honda Civic...License Plate Lights..
Check with a multimeter the voltage from the positive lead to a body ground.. any good metal spot will do. Make sure the lights are on of course.

Re: 91 Honda Civic...License Plate Lights..
well, actually, the license plate lights ground w/ the tail lights.. .there is a pigtail of two wires that comes off them so you can remove the bumper cover w/o taking them out, and the other ends of those wires tucks up into a hole that has a grommet in it, which goes up the passenger side of the car... I'm not exactly sure WHERE it's grounded, but I think it's somewhere under the back seat.
