Maintenance on 2000 Intrigue

Now that my Intrigue has crossed the 150k mile mark, I guess i need to catch up on some maintenance items. My rotors are warped so when I get them changed, I will have the mechanic also change the wheel hubs. I plan to buy them from Rock Auto and save some money. I lso will ask him for a price to change the spark plugs.

What spark Plugs is everyone using? There seems to be a bunch of different plugs for the Intrigue. I know some people have not had luck with certain brands. Any guidance is appreciated.

Re: Maintenance on 200 Intrigue

AC Delco is the OEM brand for GM so they will certainly work. Autolites and NGKs also seem to work fine with the Intrigue. I would stay away from Champion and Bosch.

Thanks aghopkins. I knew there were a couple of brands that folks were having trouble with.

Re: Maintenance on 200 Intrigue

As a follow-up to my original post, I finally had some much needed maintenance done on my 2000 Intrigue (150k miles). I had my mechanic replace the spark plugs, fuel filter, front rotors and wheel hub assembly. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! it feels like a new car. No rumblilng when depressing the brakes (warped rotors and wheel hub assembly), acceleration is stronger and the car jsut drives smoother. I may have to hold onto this vehicle another year!
