my 2004 1500 Quad Cab tuneup

What is a good plug to put in the Dodge 4.7 engine. A friend of mine just took his 6cly plugs out at 37k miles and were totally shot electrode burnt and plugs carboned up. The plugs were some odd name for his 2004. My 1500 is a 2004 8cyl and think i might have the same plugs will find out tonight. He replaced his with Bosch platinum. What should i replace with? I thought Dodge used champion plugs. He just had the crank sensor replaced cost 257$ from dealer.

thanks

What plugs are in it now, how many miles on them, and how do they look?

If they're good, then I'd use the same brand.
