92 protege window motor clicking

My 92 protege driver side window motor makes a clicking noise at either end of its travel. The other three windows do not click. What causes the motor to stop? Is there a current sense circuit in each switch? I have replaced the regulator and do not want to ruin the new one.

I think the window regulator that you bought may be defective. I'd take it to the person who replaced it and have them check it out.
