Re: maitenance required light
I am pretty sure this is what is in the manual but it might not be! If it is like my civic just press and hold the odometer reset button then turn the key to the second position (dont start the car) keep holding the button down until the light goes off. I think it takes about 5 or 10 seconds. I hope this helps!

Re: maitenance required light
do you know what caused the light to begin with? bring it to a place to have the code read

Re: maitenance required light
right, im aware of that... but what maintainnaceis required? he might as well find out before he turns it off... and most places that read the code can clear it

Re: maitenance required light
The maint. req. light will not tell you what codes or what maintanance needs to be done...all its there for is to remind you of your normal maintance schedule for fluids and tire rotation inspection, brakes...etc.
As for the TSX im not 100% sure but i think you should completly start the car in order to reset the Timer.....I know this is true for all 94-01 Integras... |
