'04 CRV passenger side mirror

My side mirror enclosure was broken. I have the pieces but it would be so much easier to repair it if it were off the car. The mirror itself is not broken so no need for replacement. I want only to remove the exterior enclosure so I can repair. Is there someplace where I can find detailed instructions pertaining to removal or is there anyone who knows how to remove this item.

Thanks

A last ditch effort !!! hasn't anyone ever removed a mirror housing ? There must be some place on the internet that shows how it is done.

Re: '04 CRV passenger side mirror

Pull off the plastic cap on the back side of the mirror inside of the door frame. Remove the nuts holding the back side of the mirror to the door frame. Disconnect the electrical connector from behind the door panel.
