2003 Sentra question: Low fuel Pressure
Hi
2003 sentra GXE CEL on with a code low fuel pressure. Is the fuel pump in the tank? If not, where is it? Is this typically the problem for low fuel pressure? If I replace the pump all should be OK right? Thanks in advance for any help Steve |

Re: 2003 Sentra question: Low fuel Pressure
there is a service bulletin regarding low fuel pressure for your year Sentra. It should be taken care of by Nissan.

Re: 2003 Sentra question: Low fuel Pressure
Does that mean there is an 'official recall' ? Can't i just replace the fuel pump and all should be OK?
Thanks, Steve |

Re: 2003 Sentra question: Low fuel Pressure
an SB is different from a recall. the SB should be covered, but it is not considered a safety issue. it does not mean you cannot replace the fuel pump. however, why use your dime, when maybe Nissan will pay?

Re: 2003 Sentra question: Low fuel Pressure
Service bulletins do not mean a particular item is covered under warranty. Only that a problem has been identified and there is a correction for it. If you need the fuel pump repair kit, It is a 3yr and 36k miles warranty and the Repair kit will may not be covered
