Tribute build - Burnsie 2001 Impreza WRC Monte-Carlo - Tamiya - 1/24
As a tribute to Richard, I've built this model about 2 years ago. I started detailing the interior and then decided to open the doors.
I added all the PE bits, wiring, seat belts, ... Pictures are taken during serveral stages of the built. I won a first price at a contest with this car. I'll put this model in competition at the next IPMS contest in Holland. Sit back and enjoy!

Impressive, i really like it. Now did you use the four flat pieces of styrene on the door as hinges? What i mean is, is there a rod that goes through them and the door? More pics please!!

Thanks all for the comments.
The hinges are made out of alu sheet and tubing. There are indeed hing-pins, so eventually, the doors could open and close, but I glued them afterwards to remain in this position. More pics to follow ...
