|
96 grand prix 3.1 wont turn off right away
My grand prix wont shut off right away. When i turn the key off it kinda stutters and stays on for a couple seconds and then turns off. Was wondering what the heck it could be?

sounds like you need a tune-up. What you're experiencing is called "dieseling" or "run-on" and is caused by carboned up plugs retaining enough heat to fire the air/fuel mixture after the ignition is shut off.
