2000 Camaro SS versus mini cooper

ok so im at a red light and this mini cooper drives up and he hears my exhaust and he starts revving. i catch on and rev. the light turns green and we floor it he slips ahead due to my tire slip but then i catch up quickly in 2nd im ahead by a nose and in 3rd im a full 2 car lengths aheasd and i close the throttle at 95. i beat him bad and he knew it.

Hmmmm...kind of a pretty big difference there buddy, almost like stepping on an ant...is it me or does this remind you of the Anthony789 stories, but still, good kill.

you killed a mini cooper by only 2 car lengths? something about that doesnt sound right... was it a mini cooper s or not ?

LOL!!! That must have been one hell of a driver in that mini cooper or you just plain suck ass driving... That LS-1 should have and would have put bus lengths on that mini...

Motor Trend tested the MCS and it ran like high 14s in the quarter i think. still not even close to an ss camaro.

2 cars just doesnt seem right

I was driiving down by a wal-mart and I stop at a red light. This viper rolls up (im not sure of the year but i think it was an '04) he looks at my 69' Charger and then he looks at me. He starts revving trying to get me to race. FInally I decide the hell with it. I start revving too, at the light we take off and we burn tires and I lose traction but I get it back. He is ahead but I shift into 2nd and quickly close the distance and then I shift into 3rd and I wait till it hits redline. I quickly pass him and at 110 I close the throttle. I look back and he is about 5-6 car lengths back........

Last week I was cruisin to the store in my almost all stock nissan 300zx. Seen this volkswagen jetta vr6 (Late 90s?) in front of me. at the light the guy looks back at me out his side window. I could tell he wanted to race. I pull beside him at the light and he starts revving like crazy. I laugh thinkin "this will be interesting" and start revving mine. at green we take off and he keeps up with me. from low 3rd I slammed back to 2nd to hit a higher RPM and slowly start passing him (half car lenght). I could hear his engine over mine like he's struggling. I hit 3rd again and completely pass him after maxin out 2nd........

I am driving down a freeway and this new Chrysler 300 comes flying by me and I feel like racing so i gun it too. Pretty soon i catch up and pass him and by the tiime i pass him im in 4 gear and going 145 and 2 seconds later i close the throttle and i look back and he is one and a half bus lenghts back. i see him take the next exit and i thought he got pissed. anyways my Camaro beat him and he got embarrassed probably which is why he took the exit.

what anthony is back. nice!!! oh and now he has a 2000 camaro ss nice car but i would have rather got the Firebird WS6 but w/e. so what happened to the charger?!!! jk. good kill. now for some fun try racing some lightly moded crxs. hell you can even try to race a stock last gen prelude but hey lets not get to crazy on the streets!!!

did you downgrade your exhaust to smaller piping or something? even when my TA was bone stock I could still put bus lengths on mini's by the time I got to like 45mph.

If what this guy is saying is true then my stock tsi would would almost be neck and neck with his ss. Oh hell no! But hey two car leangths is a win regardless. Maybe he tried to tone down his story to make it a believable one.

I hate doing this from my phone.....don't get to pick any of the cool smilies in here. Doesn't have the same effect. Haha.
