Re: Best Tuner Car
since your young and just staring out i go with a early coupe civic just an idea easy to mod thousands of parts and you won't be in the paper for losing control

Re: Best Tuner Car
Just buy a 1990 Civic/CRX hatch and make it as light as possible. A tuner car requires money, lots of it.

Re: Best Tuner Car
Dude, you said you didn't have any money. Also, you're 16, why are you looking at Supras? They are great, but way overpriced, not cheap to insure, and being a powerful RWD isn't an ideal car for teenagers. Parts won't be cheap either, OEM or mods.
For your situation, just get an import 4 banger regardless of who is best. A Civic or Integra is the cheapest option since they're the most common. What are your plans for modding? If you're after performance keep in mind its not always best to buy one part at a time.

after you pick a car I wouldn't throw too much $$ into it. maybe just get a new intake, cat-back exhaust and a chip, and drive it for a year or two. by the time you start putting money in to upgrading the headers back, engine internals, or even forced induction, you'll have probably ended up spending more money than you would've had you just bought a faster stock car. let us kno what you end up going with, and good luck modding
