me vs. IS300 vs. 325i

I was driving home from my sister's in petaluma and I was just south of san fran when I noticed a BMW riding my ass. I figured maybe he wanted to play so we both got clear of traffic, and mashed the gas. He must have done something to his car because he was able to pull way hard on me from 4th gear up. But I got through traffic a bit better, so techinally I "won". Then he follows me for a bit, and we get up to this IS300 which might have been modded, he and an aftermarket exhaust, other than that I couldn't really tell. He must have thought I was trying to instigate a race because I was pulling up next to him and going the same speed (in actuality, I was trying to watch their head-rest TV's to see if they were watching anything good. I guess he felt threatened, and he got on the gas, and I did too. I wasn't able to really pull on him until I hit about 125 mph and then I started creeping up to his door. Unfortunately, we had run out of clear roadway, and we both had to slam on our brakes. Then I see that samn goddamn BMW that I thought I had ditched go whizzing by me in the right hand lane with his hazards blinking. Me and the IS mash the gas and weave in and out of traffic to catch up to him, and we eventually do. When we are all three just about even, we all mash the gas at the same time. Initially, the BMW leaves us by about 3 carlengths while the lexus and I duel for leftovers. I was starting to creep past the lexus when a slow-moving (80 mph) vehicle blocks my lane, and I have to slam on the brakes. The lexus zooms by, hazards flashing. By now I am really pissed off, having been hazarded twice in the last 5 minutes, and I mash the gas to catch up to both the BMW and the lexus. Unfortunately, the lexus exits the freeway, and the BMW got tired of playing, and slowed down to sane speeds. All in all, it was one hell of a rush!

I believe I hit 140, if I had any more left, it wasn't much.

I'm not sure, I believe it last for about 5 minutes, give or take a minute or so.

I'm not sure, it could have been an E36 M3, but if it wasn't, it was one hell of a fast 325. I believe I could have taken the IS300, but I'm not so sure about the bimmer, he had a lot of top end.

My friend in his modified Integra (the same one in my sig) raced an E36 M3 on the freeway (his girl used to live 200 miles away), and he told me he got up to about 140+ and the Bimmer passed him like he was going 50...

...of course the BMW had a Dinan supercharger.

Go BMW! Uhh, M power, yeah.

And go IS300, Doriftu power!

I can't really think of anything for the Max, maybe "comfy commuter with power" power?

Actually, I beat an E36 M3 with my old Chevy Beretta. I had the GTZ which had 190HP stock from it's 2.4 Quad 4 motor. I talked a normally V8 shop (money talks) to open the motor up. I had port/polish, balance/blueprint, custom headers, K&N drop-in filter, custom exhaust, B&M in-line fuel pressure controller, metal head gasket, and trimmed flywheel. Anywho, it was all naturally-aspirated and I beat a stock M3 by about half a car. He was PISSED.

Moral of this story is, I took the car down to California (topped-out at 159-160...if I only had one more gear ) and got WAXED by a turbo Civic on the streets.
