T28 turbo and other upgrades

Alright so I was looking on DSM tuners Tech guide for the 4g63 stage one upgrades... Is it actually possible to make around 275hp with a T28 without buying a fmic, injectors, and no SAFC, because the page makes it look like you could and if thats possible thatd would make my day. My goal is to make around 275 hp, thanks

Don't waste your time on the T28. Just pick up a used 14b with little to no shaft play, I don't know if you could exactly get to 275, but I would venture to say you could come pretty close.

The reason I say skip the T28 is because for the price you are going to pay for that turbo it would be better to buy a 16g (if you are looking to make 300+ hp) but since you are looking to make sub 300, A 14b should be able to get extremely close, as it is a pretty versitle little turbo.

Yes, if you want the car to run correctly.

Re: T28 turbo and other upgrades

I ran a T28 turbo on my car for a little while. You will deffinatly need to get an SAFC or some sort of tuning device along with bigger fuel injectors. You will not be able to reach your hp goal with stock injectors. I had a problem hitting fuel cut when turning the boost up close to 20 on stock fuel injectors.
