OBD code p1810?

Hello. I just had the service engine soon light come on. Came up with code p1810 which says pressure switch malfunction. I know I need to change my trans fluid and filter cause when I pulled out the dipstick tube to check the fluid it had crusty crap on the stick which some of it fell down the tube which I think is what caused contamination to the pressure switch and activated the service light. Anyway I am going to change the fluid and filter tomorrow and was wondering if anyone can tell me exactly where is the pressure switch so I can make sure to clean it (or them if there's more than 1 switch). Is there a diagram somewhere I can look at so I can become familiar with what I'll be looking at when I remove the pan? Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Change filter and fluid and check for extra metal or clutch stuff in the bottom of pan.

Clear code and see what the transmission does.

The code is for a pressure switch problem but many things can trip the code.
Speed sensors readings and bad wiring or lose connection or ground or 12 volt power lose to switch.
To check the code out.
You would need a engine/transmission scanner and a good volt/ohm meter to check out the wiring and switch and sensors.

Crusty stuff in dip stick tube is condensation and rust.
You need to lubercate your dip stick.
Just clean it as best as you can and smear a little greese on the dip stick and tube area.
Make sure a ac line or water leak is not above dip stick area.

Thanks MT2500 I changed the fluid and filter cleared the code everything seems great now. Dont know if it was coincedence or if it will happen again in a couple days but for now its good. There was the usual residue on the magnet in the pan but no large pieces. I was expecting the worst since I dont know if the fluid was ever changed before. I bought it (98 blazer 4x4 4.3v-6)with 63,000 now has 96,000. The fluid was very old looking almost like old motor oil. I hope doing this doesnt hurt it since I have read that cars with alot of miles and fluid not changed regularly can cause problems.But it seems to be normal.Drove it around for last hour shifted smooth and no service engine soon light!Thanks again!
