Squeaky Driver Side Seat...

2004 Grand AM 2.1

The driver Seat has started squeaking... as I move around in the seat, but it does not appear to be lose just noisy. Are there certain points under the seat or on the rails I can WD40 or grease/oil?

thanks

Re: Squeaky Driver Side Seat...

Welcome to AF.

Probly a spring, but its hard to say without investigating.
See this link for a seat diagram as they do differ a little from manual to electric.

It says for 99-03 but its all relavent to your 2004.
Thier you will see where the moving parts are and after investigating you can figure out where the "OIL" is needed.

I would NOT recommend using WD as it will eat up any grease that is on there and cause more troubles from squeakin/noise.

Hope that helps!
