Mercedes SLR - Racing -

Hi,

here another project :

My idea for this model was to create a racecar, that could participate in the FIA GT1 class, however looking very similar to the street car like the Saleens, not so much widened like the Ferrari 550 / 575.

Anyway, the rear fenders were widened a little bit for the huge tires.








The engine cover was widened a little bit, too



... the openings for the exhaust were closed, new ones were drilled in front of the rear wheels

I started the model some time ago, this one in your posting came to the internet in the last 2 weeks.

Hi,

a little bit more about the body:

I got some resin louvers, that I fixed on the engine-cover




The diffusor was cleaned, later I´ll add a racing-part.
