Lsd

well last time i was on 3si and seen the advertisement of the limited slip differential(lsd) and i was just wondering if anyone had purchased it here or just pros and cons of it and if it really is worth the money.... i have a sohc and when i peel out i do notice that only one wheel is spinning....so if you get the lsd, both tires would spin then right.... so will this mean that you might see better 1/4 mile times??

Yep you got the right idea. As for whether it's worth it or not...I don't consider any engine mods on an N/A "worth the money". But that's just my opinion, if you're happy with how fast the car is now and just want a little faster launch, then it might be worth it to you.

Re: Lsd

only one wheel is spinning but as the car launches forward the other wheel just follows along, it doesn't just stay still

Re: Lsd

LSD is around $1k.

If you dont plan on any hardcore racing I wouldnt get it. I am about to get one, but thats only because I;ve broken 2 diffs. One I broke in May due to wheelhop. One I broke in Sept on the launch. I've narrowed it down to probably being worn bearings on the diff and the shock load of the launch caused the diff to "jump"
