Re: Thread size in Shredder valve
I have no idea, but I did misplace the cap for the one on my '96, and a tire valve cap fit just fine.

Are you trying to make a make shift fuel pressure tester ? I looked around and finally ended up buying a tester it was $40. but worth it. It has a bleed off button with a tube that can lead to abucket or pan to prevent fuel from getting all over the manifold. |

Re: Thread size in Shredder valve
Thanks.
I found the thread size of the Schrader valve in the fuel rail. It's the same as the outer thread in tires: 0.305 in x 32 tpi (it's not metric no standard). I was intended to make a fuel pressure tester and found an adaptor converting Schrader to a standard thread from tire department in Meijer (had no chance in WalMart). With this adaptor, I was able to measure fuel pressure with custom made tester. |
