Tires for a stock 2002 1500

What are some of the biggest tires i can put on a stock 2002 1500 silverado with my stock rims and not rub anywhere.

Tire shop told me 265/75/16 on a 2wd. I have BFG A/Ts and no rubbing, just less mpg...

I have 285/75/16 BFG KO's on my 2001 4x4 with no rubbing and no lift

You can fit a 285 pretty easily, if it does rub (which should be minimal nothing a little trimming or crank of the TB wont fix. I ran a 305/50 20 on my Z71 on a 20x8.5 inch wheel and had to only time just a touch off my front valence.
