I'm pretty sure it's in the owners manual, probably around 300 pounds. I know I've put more than that in the trunk of my '94 Deville. Are you carrying a lot of people? That is a consideration as well.

Thanks , 4 golf bags 4 suitcases and 4 guys around 180 lbs. I am thinking we should be alright . I can't find the payload in the manual , it shows around 20 cubic feet of space but that's it.

You should be fine. The door sticker should list the max vehicle weight of the car with all cargo and passengers. I don't think you will come close to it with only 4 people in a 6 passenger car!
