axle question again

I got an intermediate shaft from an 89 tegra for my ZC swap. Hasport said to use an intermediate shaft with 86-89 tegra axles. however, i can't find where the intermediate shaft would bolt up to the chassis.

can someone tell me just what axles to use, and whether or not i use an intermediate shaft. those damn websites don't tell you shit.

thanks a lot!

yeah i forgot to put that. i've got a zc tranny, also with crx si hub assembly (does that matter?)

my dad is the one puttin in the axles and stuff. he said that the intermediate shaft doesn't match up to the bolting on the motor. i'll hafta check that out for my self.another thing is where do the half shafts come in to all of this?

between 89 and 90 the civic's changed the number of splines on the hub, I'm assuming the CRX's did likewise... i believe the 89's had 23 splines while the 90's had a couple more. Not sure if this will affect anything but just figured I'd through it in, btw the 23 spline axles have a yellow stripe on them.

if your using the 89 teg intermediate shaft i would guess you need the teg axles as well. the intermediate shaft bolts to the back side of the motor, below the oil filter...
