Toyota Question

Alright, we'll like a few of my other posts about my truck i was just given, i have a question about the history of it. I see that there is a regular pickup then there is a Dl and then there is the SR5, what is the difference between the 3?

And my second question is, is there any sites or places that i could go to find PreRunner body panels for my 91? I'v seen a few trucks and really like how it looks and thought i might go that route and make my truck stand out , since in my area Toyotas are a Dime a Dozen.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Toyota Question

DL is the Deluxe package which is actually the base model, SR5 is the top package before the LTD (Limited) package came out.

In the early days no suspension or performance differences, until recently with the TRD, Pre-runner packages, etc.

Re: Toyota Question

Alright, because a friend of mine seems to think the SR5's had more power, but i knew it had to just be a Apperence thing rather then any actual upgrades. But he does has the 3.0L V6 in his so i guess he does have alittle more performance then my 22Re has but ehh, im not really worried about that because i have a few "Internal" mods i will be doing to improve mine and he wont know about it .

Thanks for the help.

Re: Toyota Question

The 3.0 is more commonly refered to as the 3.slow.
You do the math

The 22RE is really the better engine in the long run.
