98 GS-T Spyder top problem?

The motor for the top works fine, the top goes back fine, but there's a bar(above the front seats when up) that binds on the interior in the back by where the seatbelt goes into the inertial reel. If it didn't bind there it'd go down and up perfect, but right now I have to help it. The bar looks "bent" but seems as though if it were straight the top wouldn't operate right. The bar, about 1"x8" if it were straight, is shaped like a parabola right now. How do I keep this from binding? I did a search but the other threads I've read seem to be a different issue.

Check around the tech section of dsmtuners. There is a few articles over there that should be able to help you.
