Anybody tried the aucto auctions for a great price?

I was researching some sites and on some they have examples of expensive cars they sold for 1/4 of their normal value. Is this true?have any of you gotten a car like this? Or know where to look for public police auctions?

sorry to break it to you but they are all lies, the only auctions you might find cars at half book value are dealer auctions, but it requires you to be a dealer

No such thing, also to the guy that said 1/2 price, that's a lie too, for example, a car that sells for $10,000 would be sold for roughy $8,800, I go to a few auctions every week and there's nothing like that trust me. Also there is auction fees so in the end you make maybe $1,000 on each car.

Also if you aren't a dealer and you buy a car you can't take it back like we do and just sell it again, you'll be stuck with it and your problem so it's not really worth the risk.
