Rear window glass
Alright, I got a 88 C1500, with a 93 C1500 parts truck. the 93 has a slider rear window on it, the 88 doesn't. I want to take the 93's window out, so....
How do I get the old window out??? I know on the old ones there was a strip you removed and then the window pushed out. It doesn't look the same. Is it glued in? Am I going to have to use piano wire and cut the window out?

Re: Rear window glass
Installing the good 'ol beer window, huh. Not sure why you want to do such a thing considering it just makes your truck even easier to break in to. But to each his own. If I remember correctley, all you need to do is remove that "bead" (or in your words "stripe" and the window will simply pop out.
