truck wont start theft light
help please. friend of my sons has a 01 f150, they called me tonight stuck 45 miles from home where they are deer hunting. truck wont turn over ?anti-theft light is on solid. any ideas how to clear it.. i told them to unhook battery which they did for 30 min but it didnt solve it. they are on way home by friend but have left the truck.. i have a code reader, will this come up on code that i could clear?

hey
a normal code reader will not be allow the truck to start a dealership has computers that can acess the anti-theft system and work on it i would suggest taking it to the nearest ford dealership around you
