2002 Tailgate loose

I have a 2002 Silverado and the tailgate latches fine but it seems loose. Both sides latch and the tailgate holds, but feels loose. Is there any adjustment on those? Thanks!

not really.. it's just the way they were made.

if you use the tailgate a lot; you might want to try replacing the rubber bumper thngies..
They shouldn't be too expensive..

I lost one of those bumpers on my truck, got a price from the dealer - way too much. Can't remember the price but it was ridiculos.

So one of the trucks on his lot was very happy to donate 2 new bumpers to my cause, hehehe...
