Smokers Unite

Just curious about something. Who all smokes here and do you smoke when you're racing?

I'm trying to quit right now, but haven't made much progress...especially when out in the car...i enjoy calmly smoking a cigarette while i whoop the ass off some unsuspecting fart muffler.

Comments? :smoker2:

I quit two years ago, so not anymore...

Quitting is actually really easy, you just have to make the decision that you don't want to smoke anymore... that's what I did at least.

Eh, I smoke sporadically, but I usually use it as a stimulant rather than to calm myself down. I do sometimes smoke before a race, but not after. And bowtiepride, people do drink poison just for fun.......it's called Alcohol.

But drinking alcohol in moderate amounts is not a poison and does not harm your body.......while any amount of cigerette smoke is harmfull.....

Recent studies have shown that alcohol in moderate amounts is actually GOOD for your body.

That's true,

A glass of red wine a day is good for your heart apparently.

i don't drink though, don't believe in it. Same reason for quitting smoking. Been 3 days now since the last smoke, woohoo!

It takes an awful lot of drinking to cause your body harm(this from the guy who has two friends with sever ulcers from drinking).

Use this key rule "I don't get drunk G, I get funky!"

What this means, is when you have had enough that you are pleasantly up in the mix, or "funky" as I like to say, you put a hold on the drinks until your level of funkiness begins to slip. If at any point you get "too funky", then you should probably have someone who tells you when to stop.

God damn, I love Funkdoobiest

Yea, I agree with the noobee. I've never seen the point in it. Never even tried it. Now alcohol, thats a whole different monster. gawd, I would kill to be able to have a glass of red wine every day.
