1997 Protege LX
My engine fan comes on very quickly....sometimes after a minute or so of driving and it seems to stay on. The temp gauge never goes past half way. Any ideas why this would happen?

If the A/C is on, the fan turns on.
If this is not the issue, then I'd check your sending unit. Watch for whether or not you see temp climb severely when the car isn't moving.
