01 venture with multiple misfire

ok i was stumped on this one, my own van drove fine int he morning, parked it and came back out 15 minutes later and was misfiring real bad
went over the basics and checked for spark and there was, all new plugs and wires, slammed a can of fuel injector cleaner in it no luck, smelt the exhaust and it smelt like eggs. starving of fuel! turns out i went out that mornign and filled it up at a different gas station and the fuel filter was plugged, new filter no multiple misfire and drives like new, doesnt shake no more on idle, doesnt surge on the highway.
