catera nightmare!

I recently and most unfortunately purchased a 99 Catera and have nothing but problems!!! I would like to know if I can swap the engine and or transmission for an Iroc, or other?

Is the engine the problem? I don't know of any other engines that fit besides the 3.2 L.
