Spark question???

I've got a 96 breeze that started missing on cyl #3, good compression, new plugs and wires, no spark out of coil on #3. I took the coil off and took it to the local autozone to have it checked and they told me they couldn't check it unless it was on the car. Anyway I checked the resistance on the coil and it checks good, primary and secondary. Could the coil still be bad? what else should I check? thanks
