nice build indeed. Is the tail light two piece or is it just one piece that you paint the red over the circles on?

They're in one piece, I only painted red over the circles on.

Re: Mazda RX-7 D1GP Greddy

This is a very cool little model! I am building the same kit although the later model of their drift car. It is special to me as I actually live within a 2 minute walk of their garage where the drift car is kept!
Heres some photos I took on my cellphone of the car and so on...

If anyone is building the kit and wants a set of detailed photos of the car then just drop me a PM or a note and can go down with the proper digital camera and take some pics for you!

Heres the real car!

Re: Mazda RX-7 D1GP Greddy

Firstly if you want to lower it.

here you go.

Wont take long and you shouldn't have to pull to much apart.

Rear

Front

I built the 2004 one and the 2004 one in different colours.

Currently I have 3 underway.

Fujimi mU special built as street version.

Fujimi Greddy 9 modified with Feed parts to match my real car. using DISM Advan wheels.
you can see it in the last pic

Aoshima S package - to be combined with C-west to be my old car. Wheels may be an issue though.

recently finished a Hotworks metal and Aoshima combo for a freind.

Re: Mazda RX-7 D1GP Greddy

Thanks! Most of D1 Aoshima cars has the same build of suspension, so it should "work" also in other builds.

I won't lower this one kit, but I think I'll do this with my next Aoshima build.

Thanks again!
