Tansmittion / maybe not ?

The problem is strange, about 2 yrs ago I parked my van in the yard because I belived the transmittion was going or gone. It would not shift from 3rd to OD, fliuid red, clean, no burnt smell. After 9 months of sitting I was going to sell it - jumped the dead battery, replaced frozen a/c compressor - started and ran fantastic, 100 % sound engine, no trany problems at all. Now almost 2 yrs latter I have a problem (both at the same time) engine runs like @#@#$ , and the transmittion will not shift 2-3 just revs. Scanner only detected TPS problems P1120, P1121 & P0122 ONLY no trany codes. A short time back I did notice the Batt light would come on glow a little and go out, at tge same time there was a noice from the alt - any help would be great.

Re: Tansmittion / maybe not ?

Just a quick note - I fixed the problem.

It was the TPS - replaced it, now the van runs jaut like new again. Not bad for a $32.00 part and the use of an auto scanner rental.
