Question 96 Cadillac Deville-Service Ride Control HELP

My Service Ride Control light is on. Can you please tell me
1. What is it?
2. Where it is?
3. How do I fix it?
4. How to clear the light off?

Thank you very much for your help!!!!

Re: 96 Cadillac Deville-Service Ride Control HELP

The ride control is related to the variable dampened shocks/strut. Obviously there is a problem in this system. You will have to have the system scanned with an bcm function scanner to access codes for the initial diagnosis.

You can also view the codes by pressing and holding the "off" and temperature warmer buttons together on the climate control panel. This will display the codes, and the codes that start with S are for the suspension system. Let us know what it displays!
