97 Concorde oil light flicker

I have a 97 concorde with the 3.5L. The oil lights will come on when the RPMS get below 1000. Could be a problem other than the oil pump?

How would you check to see if that is the problem?

Thank you for your help. I had to take it in to be tested and it was just the pressure sensor. I was a lot cheaper than having to replace the oil pump.
