98 k1500 fuel pump problems
my fuel pump went out and im puttin in a new one got the tank dropped and everything just cant get the lines off the only fuel pump they have like a 4 pronged plastic clip holdin it on and im not sure if i can get a new one so i dont wanna break it if anyone knows an easy way to get this off let me know

A picture would help... I think I've seen what you are talking about, but never on a Chevy
There's got to be a special disconnect tool for them, you need to be able to push all 4 tabs away from the line at the same time. I have a "master" disconnect set that doesn't work on them. If you have someone to help you, get 4 picks that you can get on the tabs and press them out with the picks while pulling.

Autozone and/or O'reillys should sell the specialty tool needed to get it off "properly". However, J-Ri's method will work just fine. Thats how I did mine.

thanks guys auto zone did have the part i needed to get it off everything is good and shes spinnin mud and beatin fords again
