Need help with power locks

I have owned a 95 Sentra for about 9 months. I have developed a problem with the power locks where they will indiscriminatly lock (or unlock) without so much as touching the button. This occurs anytime day or night without warning. I am not sure if there is a short in wiring or what.

Does anyone here know how to "disable" the power lock feature so that I can just lock and unlock manually. I do not desire or need to put any money into this car. I have tried finding the fuses but there is not a fuse which reads "power locks" specifically.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Need help with power locks

Try pulling one fuse at a time until your remote will no longer make the doors unlock then you will know which fuse it is.

As far as fixing the problem the "black box" that controls all the locks is probably trying to die, get a manual for your car it should show you where it is.
