Using ramps to elevate GPs
It seems like with each newer car, it's become more and more of a challenge to get my car up on my ramps, because of the front fascia. The 98 & 02 GPs were a challenge, but doable. Well, tonight I tried my son's '04 GP - no way Jose. I ended up using jack stands on each side in the front so I could drop the transmission pan and do a fluid/filter change. Much harder to do without ramps!
SO...there is a question here. Are there better ramps for newer cars that are easier to drive up on? A lower profile, but longer ramp would do the trick.

Re: Using ramps to elevate GPs
I've never had a problem with using ramps under mine. I've got those plastic ones, Rhino ramps or something. My buddy has them too, he uses them for his newer Monte all the time. What kind do you have?

G-Fish, I'm in the same boat, er, GP you are. Somebody has to make ramps for low riders that would work???

Re: Using ramps to elevate GPs
My ramps were a $30 steel set I got 20+ years ago. They have a pretty steep incline, which is why the fascia hits, and the 225 tires are a tight fit, width-wise.
Jake, I never heard of Rhino Ramps until you posted, thanks! I found them and they are cheap! Rhino Ramps
